Okay, mamas—have you met Finn the Talking Cactus yet? Because we just had an unexpected toy takeover in the playroom, and let’s just say… chaos has never been this musical.

Finn is a soft, plushy cactus who wiggles, lights up, and (wait for it) repeats everything you say back to you—in the most hilarious, high-pitched voice. Think toddler with a karaoke mic and no filter. Add in over 100 songs and you’ve got yourself a cactus that could probably host its own baby shower.

Now, my niece (the 5-month-old gummy bear) doesn’t quite know what to make of him. At first, she stared like he was an alien from a desert rave. Then she giggled. Then she burped. (Which, of course, Finn repeated. Because of course he did.)

This toy has been a hit at playdates—babies laugh, parents laugh harder, and yes, it even kept my cousin’s 5 kids entertained for a full 13 minutes, which we all know in mom-time is basically an hour and a half.

Mom Tips Before You Buy:

  • Finn’s volume is a little extra, so maybe don’t bring him to nap time.
  • Some versions have songs in other languages—super cute, just preview the playlist first!
  • Great for developing language mimicry and emotional reaction in babies!

You can find him at on this link here —and trust me, your baby (and your inner goofball) will love him.

Final Thought: If motherhood had a theme toy instead of a theme song, Finn might just be it—noisy, unpredictable, and weirdly adorable.

XO from the Adorable Baby team (and Finn, who’s currently repeating “Mama needs coffee” on loop).
